Switching to Xfinity?

Switching to Xfinity TV is relatively painless. If you opt for a professional installation, you’ll have to pay around $90, which isn’t a bad price compared to other providers. You can also self-install your service, which is surprisingly easy.

There are just two other things to be aware of with Xfinity TV. The first is that you’ll need to sign a 12-month contract, which limits your options if you don’t like the service. The second is that Xfinity tends to pile on the fees, so you may find your bill a bit higher than expected. These include charges for each set-top box, a DVR fee, fees for additional storage, and the always-aggravating regional sports and broadcast fees.

Canceling Xfinity services?

Since Xfinity requires a contract, canceling TV service subjects you to an early termination fee (ETF).
