Who are MaxxSouth Broadband’s competitors?
Unfortunately, MaxxSouth doesn’t have a ton of competitors. In some areas, you can get Sparklight, which is a company that helps you cut the cord. It integrates multiple streaming apps with live TV streaming into one experience, but it’s a lot more expensive than simply signing up for the streaming services you want individually.
In most areas, the only alternatives to MaxxSouth are DISH or DIRECTV. Both are solid (though less reliable) options, but sports lovers usually prefer DIRECTV. If you want to go the streaming route (and a MaxxSouth internet plan works beautifully for this), check out the best live TV streaming apps. You could skip traditional TV options altogether with the right streaming service.
Canceling MaxxSouth Broadband’s service?
To cancel MaxxSouth internet, provide written notice (like in an email). You can’t simply call customer service or cancel on the website. Also, plan to return any rented equipment in person within five days of your last day of service. Otherwise, you’ll be charged a steep $160 equipment fee.
